They make great reusable eco-friendly shopping bags and can of course express your ‘uniqueness’ through the choice of fabric, colour and pattern. With just a few simple knots, a 30 inch square piece of cloth can be tied to carry your worldly possessions – you could probably even wrap it around last seasons It-bag.
Instructions
Lay sarong on a clean, flat surface. Fold the sarong in half.
Tie the two edges of the sarong on the left together in a small knot, leaving some of the fabric out at the ends. then repeat the procedure with the two sarong edges on the right, remembering to leave the edge out.
Pick up the sarong by the ends that are not tied together and pull out (this should be by the triangle peak to the front) and place the two previously knotted ends together and push towards the center of the fabric.making a belly towards the base. Knot the tops ends together and put your arm through the opening under the two knots and fluff out the bag so the sides are evenly out. Use as a regular bag.
