So, what have I been up to? Making smoothies of course! And listed below is one of my fave smoothie recipe.
This raw berry-smoothie recipe is a great way to get a nutritional and energy boost in the morning. I’ve included the recipe and instructions below so you can make it at home for yourself!
How its done:
I’m not much of a “measurer” so I just dump all ingredients in. Doing it this way leads to many variations in taste but sometimes I prefer to blend my smoothies this way as every-time I make a batch I have a new flavor to look forward to. What I like about raw smoothie recipes like this is that they’re so easy to make and they can contain a huge amount of nutrients such as magnesium, antioxidants and other phytochemicals that can boost your health and energy levels in no time.
Raw Berry Smoothie Recipe:10 Frozen Blueberries
10 Frozen Blackberries
10 Frozen Raspberries
1 Organic Banana
Handful Goji Berries
1-2 Cups of Filtered Water
Prep:
1. Add Goji berries to a small bowl of filtered water for about 30mins before starting to make your smoothie to allow them to plump.
Method:
1. Add Blueberries, Blackberries, Raspberries, Banana and Goji Berries to Vitamix/Blender and add required amount of filtered water and blend on high speed until pureed. Drink immediately.
